  • Not even slightly funny. This incident is nothing to joke about, its sickening and all the more so because apparently the majority of people don't understand why it is wrong to cause unneccessary suffering to an animal. Even if it is "just" a goat.

  • The law she broke was the one about cruelty to animals. Just because you are going to kill an animal doesn't make it ok to cause it to suffer beforehand.

  • It is not a crime to butcher a goat and there is nothing wrong with raising your own meat. What is wrong, and against the law, is cruelty to animals and that is what this stupid, stupid woman is guilty of.

  • She broke the law about cruelty to animals. She tied the goats legs, threw it in the trunk of her car, closed the lid. Hard telling how long it was in there before she stopped to have the car fixed, but she was ok with leaving it there for at least a couple hours before she returned for her car.

  • You just don't get it. Its not about killing the goat, or eating it. Its the absolute stupid disregard for the suffering this woman caused that goat beforehand. It is a living, breathing animal, not a piece of furniture. Good God, what is wrong with people.

  • That woman got exactly what she deserved. Being a "grandma" and 72 years old is irrelevant. She was speeding and got caught, would not sign the ticket, resisted arrest, was rude to the officer, refused to cooperate in any way. And, it turns out that she is a lier as well.
